Analysis: Oblivion is –another– sci-fi movie talking about the end of the world. Same old, same old, you are gonna say. And you will not be completely wrong. However, this film's main advantage is nor its great CGI effects neither its famous actors (with Tom Cruise and Morgan Freeman amongst them) but its brilliantly clever scenario, a must for each movie which desires to surpass mediocracy.
Well, Oblivion surely succeeds in that, as its well-though script promises you two hours of surprises and twists. Apart from that, the dynamic direction creates a persuasively mysterious atmosphere, the intense soundtrack causes goosebumbs and last but not least, Olga's Kurylenko presence is an irresistable temptation for all the male viewers.
Things to notice:
- the brilliant scenario,
- the picturesque landscapes, created by the usage of top-of-the-line CGI and
- Olga's Kurylenko angelic eyes.
Oscar awards (2013): - (give Tom an oscar already!)
Should be watched tonight if: you are craving for a colorful sci-fi movie that will puzzle you with its clever scenario till the very last moment.
